Best Independently Measured Red Light Panel
If you only trust a number an outside lab has actually measured, this is the shortlist. It is shorter than our verified-irradiance list on purpose, because it drops even honest manufacturer-stated figures.
This is the strictest irradiance list we publish. It excludes any panel whose only at-distance number is the manufacturer's own, keeping only panels that a third party has independently measured at 6 inches (most from Light Therapy Insiders, plus GembaRed's published spectrometer data). The numbers here have been checked by someone other than the seller.
How we score: We require an independent third-party 6-inch measurement (not just a manufacturer figure stated at distance), then rank by composite.

FAQ
- How is this different from the verified-irradiance list?
- Our verified-irradiance list credits any usable at-distance figure, including a manufacturer's own number stated at 6 inches or more. This stricter list keeps only panels that an independent third party has actually measured at 6 inches, so a brand stating its own at-distance number does not qualify here unless someone outside the company has checked it.
